Connect KuCoin#
Link your KuCoin account to Anboto with a trade-only API key. Anboto supports spot markets only on KuCoin.
Prerequisites#
- A verified (KYC-complete) KuCoin account.
- Funds in the account you want to trade from.
Create the API key on KuCoin#
- Log in to your KuCoin account.
- Go to API Management → Create API.
- Choose API-Based Trading, and under API Permissions enable Spot and Margin trading. Leave Futures, Transfer, and Withdrawal disabled.
- Set IP Restriction to Yes and paste all of Anboto's IPs (separated by commas — see below).
- Set an API Passphrase and keep it, together with the API Key and Secret Key, at hand for the next step.
Permissions & IP allowlist#
- The key needs read and trade access only. Never enable withdrawal — Anboto does not need withdrawal access.
- Restrict the key to Anboto's IP allowlist. The IPs are specific to your Anboto account: find them in the app under Settings → Linked Exchanges and use the Copy all button. KuCoin accepts them comma-separated.
Link on Anboto#
- Log in to pro.anboto.xyz and open Settings (top right) → Linked Exchanges.
- On the Link CEX tab, select the KuCoin tile.
- Enter the API key, Secret key, and Passphrase, then save.
Anboto validates the key against KuCoin as soon as you save. If you see an inline error, the most common causes are that the IP allowlist has not propagated yet or a permission is missing.
The passphrase cannot be recovered
You choose the API passphrase yourself when creating the key, and KuCoin never shows it again. If you lose it, delete the key on KuCoin and create a new one.
Sub-accounts
Use Add sub account on the KuCoin tile to link keys for KuCoin sub-accounts. Sub-account names must not be main or Main.
