Connect Coinbase International#

Link your Coinbase International account to Anboto with a trade-only API key. Coinbase International Exchange is Coinbase's offshore venue for perpetual futures and spot, and API access is granted per portfolio. Anboto needs four values — the Access key, the Signing key (secret), the Passphrase, and the Service account ID.

Prerequisites#

  • An onboarded Coinbase International Exchange account.
  • Funds in the portfolio you want to trade from.

Create the API key on Coinbase International#

  1. Log in to Coinbase International and open the portfolio you want to connect.
  2. Create a new API key for that portfolio.
  3. Grant the key trading and read scope, and nothing else.
  4. Activate the key through your organization's approval flow — a new key does not work until it is activated.
  5. Record the Access key, Signing key (secret), Passphrase, and the Service account ID shown for the key.

Permissions & IP allowlist#

  • The key needs read and trade access only. Never grant withdrawal or transfer scope — Anboto does not need it.
  • Anboto's IPs are specific to your Anboto account: find them in the app under Settings → Linked Exchanges and use the Copy all button. Add them to the key's IP allowlist so it cannot be used from anywhere else.
  1. Log in to pro.anboto.xyz and open Settings (top right) → Linked Exchanges.
  2. On the Link CEX tab, select the Coinbase International tile.
  3. Enter the API key, Secret key, Passphrase, and Service account ID, then save.

Anboto validates the key as soon as you save. If you see an inline error, the most common causes are a key that is not yet activated, a missing permission, or an IP restriction that does not include Anboto's IPs.

Sub-accounts

Anboto does not support sub-accounts on Coinbase International — the tile has no Add sub account button. Each portfolio is connected with its own API key.
